Associate Professor, Rhetoric & CompositionPhD (English, Composition and TESOL), Indiana University of Pennsylvania Before coming to KU in 2000, Dr. Cullum held positions in the English Departments of West Chester University, IUP, and Lake Superior State University, where she regularly taught at the Reservation of the Sault Ste. Marie (Michigan) Tribe of Chippewa Indians. She is the editor of two collections, Breaking the Cycle: Gender, Literacy, and Learning and Contemporary Ethnic American Poets, and has published essays on American Indian writers, gender in the classroom, community-based learning, and teaching composition. The most recent courses she has developed while at Kutztown University are “Women, Writing, and Rhetoric” and “The Fairy Tale.” |
