Dr. Weedman is interested in American, British, and European film history and criticism. He also does work on modern and contemporary drama, post-1945 British literature, and multimodal composition. He has recently published a book chapter on the director Joseph Losey in Yvonne Tasker and Suzanne Leonard’s collection Fifty Hollywood Directors as well as two articles for Senses of Cinema: “Melodramatic Postwar Confessions: Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini’s La Paura (1954),” and “Jean-Pierre Melville’s Quand tu liras cette letter: The Novice and the Homme Fatale Amidst Moral Decay in Postwar France.” He also co-authored an article on composition collaboration and community at Georgia Tech. Dr. Weedman serves as a member of several English Department interest groups.
